Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No, you do not need a referral from your doctor to be seen at Grow + Be Occupational Therapy. We may request that you ask your GP for a Chronic Disease Management Plan so that you can access subsidised therapy sessions if you do not have other funding sources.
Where can I see you?
Grow + Be Occupational Therapy is a mobile service. We can visit you in your home in North West or Western Sydney. Other areas may be possible - reach out and we will see what we can do to connect! Telehealth sessions are also available. Grow + Be Occupational Therapy can see you on selected week days, as well as evening and weekend appointments.
Pricing
Appointments are billed at the standard rate of $193.99 per hour.

NDIS - We work with plan managed and self-managed clients.

Private Health Insurance - If you have private health insurance, please check with your provider if they cover Occupational Therapy.

Chronic Disease Management Plan - Your GP can provide you with this for up to five subsidised allied health sessions. Please note there will be an out-of--pocket cost.
Please note that travel fees apply for mobile Occupational Therapy appointments. Fees to be discussed at time of scheduling appointment.

What to expect in my first appointment
In your first appointment, we want to get to know you better! It's a great chance for you to tell us about yourself, the things that you are good at and the things you'd like to do better. Together we will make some goals so that you can live your best life. If you feel more comfortable to have a personal item, such as a pillow, toy, sensory item, please feel welcome to have these with you.
